The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
